The park even has a train and a traditional carousel that you can ride!
Stellar School System
Raleigh is the hub of the Wake County Public School System, which is the largest district in the state. The district serves over 160,000 students, but don't let its size fool you. Children here receive an individualized education and have unique learning opportunities that you can't get anywhere else in the state.
WCPSS's 187 schools have earned countless accolades, with many being named National Green Ribbon schools. It has also been repeatedly rated the best district in the state. Raleigh students will have plenty of schools to choose from, including North Ridge Elementary, Carroll Middle, and Broughton High.

Raleigh is constantly growing, which means there are plenty of job opportunities regardless of your career path. Niche.com has given Raleigh's job market an "A-," while US News notes that salaries in Raleigh are higher than the national average. Another reason to love this prosperous city? We have plenty of top restaurants that we can't get enough of. If you want to visit a local favorite, be sure to check out Beasley's Chicken + Honey. This popular spot features plenty of Southern cuisine by James Beard Award-Winning chef Ashley Christensen. Want to try some eclectic cuisine? Getting Around
